The Red Alert series has always held a bit of a special place in my heart. The first Red Alert was the first RTS I ever played, even if it was all of about two weeks before my parents banned me from it because of violence. Still, I found it challenging, and fun, and it was a game that made me think, which I hadn’t really encountered before.
