Congrats on your first podcast!
I was curious to hear your reaction to the unconventional elements of Prey: namely, the portals and gravity manipulation. Those, more than anything else, are what have me excited about it.
In classic Valve fashion, Half Life 2: Portals (there’s a preview on IGN with a short demo video) seems to have one-upped them with a “portal gun.” The gist is you can create portals on the fly by shooting an exit and an entrance onto any surface. All existing physics still applies, so objects can fall into an entry portal and have the same physical properties (e.g. velocity, acceleration, etc. ) upon exit. It looks extremely cool - can’t wait to see it release with Episode 2!
